What are mozunas? Mozunas are shinny metal discs, 12 mm in diameter, with a central hole. They are used extensively in Moroccan Berber costuming, headpieces, belts, shikkat scarves, etc.
They are a silver color that reflects light like a mirror. They have the advantage over plastic paillettes because they make noise when hung closely on fringe and they are highly reflective when sewn flat on costume pieces.
These mozuna products were all imported from Morocco.
